Comet lovejoy Time Lapse movie 23rd December 2011: a set of 4 "zooming-in" sequences of the comet rising above the Andes.



Comet lovejoy Time Lapse movie 30th December 2011: a set of 4 "zooming-in" sequences with panning and Dolly system of the comet rising above the Andes. Comet was already fainting at that time.



Comet Lovejoy, 30th December 2011. The comet lies vertically to the right of the beautiful Southern Milky Way. The Southern Cross and dark coal sack are visible near the middle of the picture, just below the enormous red Eta Carina nebula. The "Llama" dark constellation is rising out of the horizon while the two Magellanic clouds are visible to the right. The brigth light halo at the bottom right corner are dur to the light of Santiago de Chile.
